Smashing Creme Egg Brownies..

There are times when ..

I do try not to make too much sweet stuff because I’ll eat it!! but it’s nearly Easter so this HAD to be done ! Gooey sticky sweet deliciousness - if you love Creme Eggs - this is a heavenly overload! in a pan gently melt 100g unsalted butter with 150g good dark chocolate 175g caster sugar 75g light muscovado sugar 1tbs golden syrup until blended - set aside to cool.

whisk 2 large eggs with 1tsp vanilla extract til frothy then gently whisk in the chocolate mixture. sift in 100g plain flour 2tbs good cocoa powder and 1tsp baking powder fold together gently til mixed then pour into a 20cm square buttered lined baking tin and bake 180c 20-25 mins til Browned and coming away slightly from the sides . Allow to cool, mix 2tbs icing sugar with dessert spoon cocoa powder and a little water to make a loose icing - Spread over the top of the brownie , crush 4 cream eggs and dot over the top trying to use the gooey yolk to pattern the surface. Cut and devour with friends!
