250g flakey Pastry
350g good quality sausage meat
50g Harlech Horseradish cheddar or generic cheddar with 1tsp horseradish cream
sprigs fresh thyme
1tbs caramelised onion relish
1large egg beaten
Grate the cheese and using your hand mix in a
bowl with the finely chopped thyme onion relish sausage meat and a little seasoning ( its squelchy!).
Unroll the pastry cut in half and leaving an edge brush with a little egg divide the sausage mix and distribute along each strip before tightly rolling up and laying seam side down on a baking tray and brushing the top with egg wash. Bake 20-25 mins @180c til golden and bubbling .
